    e-mail attachment icons (2000)

When I get a plain text e-mail message with files attached, I see a pane across the bottom with an icon and file name for each attachment. When I print the message, these icons and filenames get printed. Good. When I get an HTML message, I see the same icons and filenames in the same pane, but they do not print. In fact it seems there is no way to print a record of the message that includes a record of the files that were attached. Does anybody know how to do this?

They do not print if the message format is HTML. This can be overcome with some VBA code, post back if you are interested.

    Try with the message open:
    Edit > Edit Message
    Format > Plain Text
Not as pretty, but it shows the attachments when printed.
(When closing the message you can decline the offer of saving changes, thereby keeping the original format intact.)
