    Delete Information (Excel 2002)

    Please review attachment. I have a "Go button" in cell B4. How do I get rid of it? Someone sent me this spreadsheet.

    View - toolbars check "controls toolbox"
    Press "design mode" 1st button (triangle/pencil/ruler)
    click on go button - delete
    Press "design mode" again to exit
    if desired:
    View - toolbars uncheck "controls toolbox"

    Along with what the other poster said, you'll need to delete the 'stub' code behind the button. If you don't then you'll still the get the macro enable/disable menu at workbook open. Right-click on the button (while in design mode) selected 'view code' then delete this (which I saw in the VBA editor):

    Private Sub HTMLSubmit1_Click()

    End Sub

    If you've already deleted the button, go to the editor (Alt+F11) and delete this code yourself. It's under Sheet1.

    Since there no code in the 'stub' this button never actually did anything.
