Anyone tried MS Skills Assessment? (2003)

    Just noticed this today:

    <center><IMG SRC=http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/assessment/herov2-2.jpg></center>

"Get ready for the latest Microsoft products and technologies, including Microsoft .NET, Windows Server System, and Office System. Receive a free analysis of your current skills and a personalized learning plan that recommends Official Microsoft Learning Products, Microsoft Press books, and Microsoft TechNet resources. (This free offer has a retail value of $40 US.)"

    Since this covers new editions

Re: Anyone tried MS Skills Assessment? (2003)

OK, I "bit", and wasted twenty minutes of my life. I use MS Office 2000, and scored more or less twice the "average" scores for 2003!. Now, though, I guess should be impressed with the many features of new MS products.

Of course, the website then recommended six (Microsoft) books I should purchase.

The $40 value is the same value in a "free brake inspection". Once they get your car on the rack, there's a lot of things the mechanic can recommend.
