    Mysterious Blank Pages (Unknown)

I'm trying to help a senior lady who all of a sudden is having troubles with preparing her presentation. She states that after inserting a picture and text on her slides everything looks OK. However, when she creates Custom Animation for a slide she gets a blank slide in front of it.

    Any suggestions for this problem?

The version number is important here unfortunately, as there have been updates and enhancements with each new version of PPT. But there are a couple of basic things that could be going on. First of all, I suspect she doesn't really have a blank slide - that can be verified by looking at the slide sorter view. Second, if she has given every object on the slide an annimation, then you have to click once for each annimation to occur, or wait for what ever time interval has been assigned, and if the slide had no background (from its master slide) then the slide would initially appear blank. One other thing to check is to see what transitions have been setup between slides. Hope this helps.

    Hi Wendell,

You nailed it! She was using a white background and had animated every object on the slide!

    Thanks for the help.
