positive & negative values (Access 2000)

I need to show a monetary value on a balance sheet.
If the value is = or greater than zero it goes in a particular place.
If the value is = or less than zero it goes in another place.
What would the syntax be to ensure the value is shown in the appropriate place?

I presume you are talking about a report or form.
What you could do is provide 2 text boxes showing the values you want as described. In the detail section you could set one to visible and the other to invisible depending on the conditions.

Your conditions aren't mutually exclusive. Where does a value of zero go, since it satisfies both less than or equal to zero and greater than or equal to zero? Is there a reason to show these values in separate columns? The usual convention is to show negative values in parentheses on balance sheets.
