    Word RevisionsBallons (Word 2002 (Office XP))

    I am looking for a VBA statement to turn OFF the revisions balloons which are used when track changes is on. The macro recorder only records the other options on the tool-options-track changes card when I click/unclick the balloons checkbox there (actually, the recorder also records an option for display of deleted text that seems to have been left off the tab card!).

    Thank you for any suggestions,

    The RevisionsMode property of a view determines whether balloons are displayed. It can have values wdBalloonRevisions and wdInLineRevisions. to turn off balloons:

    ActiveWindow.View.RevisionsMode = wdInLineRevisions

    Look up RevisionsMode in the VBA online help for more info.
