    Showing split lines (Office 2000)

    Hi everyone,
I have a table that is used by a chart. I need to show empty spaces between dates in my charts (ex. a space between 2002 and January), but I cannot do it. I tried to insert a new column and add 0 or NA(), but no matter what, in my chart, that column is bringing my lines down (it's difficult to exlain, so I attached a small example of what I mean. The chart on the right is the one with the problems, and i need to get something similar to what I have at the bottom).
Thanks in advance for all the help!

Your chart is a stacked line chart. I don't know how to avoid plotting an empty value as 0 in stacked charts. You can simulate a stacked chart by calculating the accumulated values yourself, and use those as basis for a non-stacked chart. See attached workbook.

Thanks a lot, that makes sense. I change the chart type from stacked to regular line and now it works fine. Will also keep in mind the tip with the stacked line for future reference.
