    Contacts vs Address Book (OXP-SR2)

I'm a new user of Outlook and am confused about Contacts and Address Book. What is the difference? When I add a new email to the Address Book and check the box Add to Contacts, the new entry does not appear in Contacts. What am I misssing?

I'm not sure that I totally follow your explanation, but try setting the Properties of the Contacts Folder to "Show this folder as an Email Address Book." This check box is located on the "Outlook Address Book" tab.

Thanks for the reply. That checkbox was checked, but I think the problem has been solved. Apparently the Contacts folder view was not refreshed immediately. When I left Contacts and returned to Inbox, then back to Contacts the new address was there.
