Tool to profile disk file ages?

I'm trying to find a (preferably free) tool that would go through every file in a directory or hard disk to produce a table of "File Ages", based on the "last modified" date/time. Something like:
Age Range Number of files
0 days 12345
1 day 22222
2-7 54321
8-30 55555

and so on. It would need to be fairly fast since I'm taking about a SAN with not many fewer than 1 million files on it!

All suggestions gratefully received!

Just a passing thought, but have you checked with your SAN solution, or the archive software, provider.

I did some time ago, and they suggested MoreSpace, but the time intervals it gives are fixed and not quite what I want. I also remain to be convinced that it is accurate! Thanks for the idea!
