    viewing pics?? (XP Pro)

In Win 98, I had other software to "view" my digital photos. Now I am told that with my NEW system, Sony Vaio RS-430, I have all kinds of software to do this. Any suggestions as to a good program to view my pics? I was using ACDSee before. But if I already was given something to do this with, Where the hell is it? I have a hrd time finding my way around with XP Pro.

    Hi, Dad ~

Actually, it is pretty easy in XP...it is built right in. Open a folder with your dig pics > then go up to the menu > 'View' and select either 'Filmstrip' or 'Thumbnails'.

XP has a built in viewer. If you right-click a JPG file, for example, it's the choice known as Preview. However, whether your computer includes anything more sophisticated, I have no idea.
