    Startup Folders

I have what appears to be two Startup folders for MS templates, one in crogram filesmicrosoft office 2000officestartup, and the other in c:winntprofiles...wordstartup. There are some duplicate entries in these startup folders. What is the significance of these two startup folders? Does the first one load templates for all apps in the suite and the other just loads them for Word or what? Can I safely delete the duplicate entries?

    Thx.

The templates in the profiles directory are available when you choose File-New in Word when you are logged in with the relevant profile. The Other is the default when you have opened Windows (generally 95 or 98) without any profile being selected.
