Smart Tags look at personal contacts only (Word XP)

How can I get Word to look at my global contacts instead of just the personal ones? Other than adding the contacts from global to personal that is. Is there a way to direct the Word to go to global contacts? Also, not all the stock symbols are used as smart tags. Example HPQ - the symbol changed fairly recently. Do I have to download the smart tag developer kit and enter the symbols myself?

    Thanks for any help/suggestion.

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by jscher2000 on 06-Nov-03 16:07. )</P>For the stock symbols, I see a folder where I guess you would add them:

    C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedSmart TagLists

But I have no idea how Microsoft intends for you to update those files. Perhaps the developer kit is required, but what a pain...

Added: In the .xml file in that folder, there are fields suggesting that the list should update itself every 14 days (assuming the frequency is in minutes, I didn't check the schema to confirm):

    <FL:autoupdate>true</FL:autoupdate>
    <FL:updatefrequency>20160</FL:updatefrequency>

But again, I'm not sure where you trigger this process, as I don't use SmartTags at all.
