Re: clipboard viewer listing (Me O/S/office 2000)

Yea, what happened to my text??Anyway lost my hard drive, reformatted new drive reinstalled Me O/S.Have office 2000 premium suite also installed.I used to have on Program Menu "clipboard" or "Clipboard Viewer". Believe it was listed under accessories on Program Menu.I'm trying to get it back. Can someone tell me how?Was great for "Print Screen" or anything I was copying.I could open it and make sure I had what I wanted. It had on its Menu at top under EDIT one word...Delete.Simple little program but don't know where or what it is.Is it in "Word" 2000? is it Notepad?
Any help would be appreciated, tnx,

(Edited by Phil Rabichow on 06-Nov-03 13:11. to add P.S.)
Hi Jim:
1. Do a search in your Windows folder for "Clipbrd.exe".
2. Drag it to your start menu &, when it opens, drag it to whatever submenu you want.

This will create a shortcut to it.

You could probably just search for
clip*
& then look to see if the shortcut is buried somewhere. I'm using Win 98, but I should think it would work. By the way, the clipboard viewer is part of Windows, not Office.
Hope this helps,

P.S. It just ocurred to me that it might not be installed by default. If you can't find it, go to the Control Panel/Add-Remove/Windows Setup. Then look under System Tools/Details & see if it's checked. If not you need to install it from your CD.
