    Spacing (Outlook 2000)

One of our employees has asked me a question I can't answer, but occasionally I have the same problem. He receives an e-mail that he wants to respond to, but it's double spaced -- almost like a setting is in the message that designates a certain amount of space after each paragraph. Is there something that can be done to make it the standard single spacing so that he can respond with single spacing? Thanks.

After choosing reply, but before actually starting to write anything, have you tried changing the format of the message into Plain Text anmd then switching it back into your preferred format?

In addition to unkamunka's suggestion, if the message is in HTML format, experiment with the "Style". For example, try "Normal" instead of "Paragraph".
