While a complete reboot would replenish your resources, for me, that takes too long, if I don't have to. I still end up doing it several times a day. Wouldn't it be faster to log off as one user & come back on as another? I don't know what that would do as far as resources are concerned as I'm on a single user machine & never tried it. [Funny how impatient I can be. When my son was in college & showed me his roommate's MAC, he printed one page & told me to get a cup of coffee while it took about 5 minutes to print. I see R2 has answered the question about deleting temp files. That's good, since he was the original source of that information. And it's R2 who pointed out that my deltemps.bat operates late in the boot process. And, heresy or not, I haven't missed systray.exe. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
