Data Tracking Wizard go bye bye? (2003)

Where'd my beloved data tracking template wizard go? I need it! Does anyone know of a suitable substitute?

You could try the 2002 vesion whihc you can download from MS.

Not sure if it works with XL2003. Try it and let us know.

We have just had a similar enquiry about the lack of Report Maker in Excel 2003. I tentatively put this down to MS rolling out InfoPath. Has anyone seen anything "official" on this?

Indeed the list of available add-ins is also severely shorter.

The 2002 (XP) version doesn't work. It looks like it installs, but nothing shows up in the list for available add-ins. I've tried the version available from MS's site, and also the version I had saved on my F: drive. Neither one works.

What if you choose "browse" and find it. XL2003 and XL2003 might put them in different places. Or even physically place the XLA file in the proper 2003 folder.

That crossed my mind as well.

I did a search for all .xla files, and didn't come up with anything that looked it would be the file I needed. I only got like 6 results.

The attached is the complete list of default add-ins available in Excel 2003 after a full install.

That's the same list that I have shown in Excel.
