    TopValues (2000)

I am using TopValues in a query. If I specify 5, I get the top 5 values but if the fifth value is say 18 and there are other 18s, I get all the records with 18 as a top value so instead of getting the top 5, I get the top 5 plus any duplicates for the fifth value. In the properties sheet, I say unique values yes but I get the same result.

This is probably to do with having other fields in your query with different values... If you do, ask yourself how you know which record with 18 in the topvalue field is the one you want?... Is there another field that answers that question... and is it string, number, date, etc data?

Post back with sample data and/or the sql if you need help figuring it out...
