Re: ASP.Net hide site in the tray??? (ASP.NET)

I'm not aware of any way to make a web browser hide in the system tray. Keep in mind that ASP.NET is mostly a server-side language that simply generates the HTML seen by the user. As far as I know, there's no *easy* way to control web browsers in this fashion.

In order to replicate functionality of an instant messaging application, you'll need a separate client-side application. It's possible to deliver windows-based code via a web install. But the bottom line is that you will need windows-based code to accomplish this - more than just HTML or Javascript.
