When I open an existing database, and try to open a table I get a very blunt message - the exclamation mark in a yellow triangle followed by 'Unknown'. There are no error numbers or any indication of the cause. I have tried repairing the installation (I used the option on the install disc) but with no success. I have installed two pieces of software recently (MYOB Business Basics and a driver for a Targus USB to Serial connector) and don't know whether they could be the cause but would have thought that the repair process would have fixed any glitches.
Any help would be appreciated.
Since first submitting this post, I've uninstalled the most recently installed software and have reinstalled Office from the CD.
Still no go!!
