    Date format in Footer (ExcelXP)

This is an old one (sorry): noticed the [Date] field in the footer. This seems to be displaying according to the "Short-date" format. Can I change the date-format in EXCEL without VBA-code?? I thought I couldn't but maybe there's new stuff in EXCEL-XP...

    Thanks,

    EJ

No, pictures are the only innovation in headers and footers in Excel 2002, and my impression is that Excel 2003 doesn't offer date and time formatting in the header and footer either. The good old VBA tricks remain the only way.
