    Absolute value (2000)

    I need the figure returned by this expression to be a absolute value. Could you tell me what I need to add to this to make it work?

    Thank you - Dan

    =IIf([payments Query - CREDIT_LastOfaccbal]<=0,[payments Query - CREDIT_LastOfaccbal],"

    The Abs function will return the absolute value. BTW, are you sure that you want to return a string in the Else part of the IIf function?

    =IIf([payments Query - CREDIT_LastOfaccbal]<=0,Abs([payments Query - CREDIT_LastOfaccbal]),"

    What kind of field is [payments Query - CREDIT_LastOfaccbal] ? If it is a text field, absolute value has no meaning.
