Updating VBA in a workbook (VB6/VB .NET/VBA (Excel))

I have developed some workbooks (around 300) for my company. Each workbook contains some Module code and code that runs on the Workbook_Open event.

Unfortunately my primary user, bless him, keeps changing his mind so I have to update the Module and Workbook code to accomodate his changes.

If I have the module code and the workbook code in text files, how can I write a VB6 or VB .NET program that applies the new code to all the workbooks in turn? All I need to do is select the code in the relevant VBA module, delete it and paste the code from the relevant file.

I know about the VBA extensibility library but I can't figure out how to use this functionality from another program.

    Regards,

    Kevin Bell

Have you tried looking at some of the stuff on Chip Pearson's website?

Thanks for the link. It's a permenent bookmark now.

I've managed to create an update program with your help unka. If anybody's interested I'll post the code when it's all neat and tidy. It's written in VB .NET.
