    As you see, I moved this to the Excel forum. For some reason, Excel has a tendency to see numbers generated in other applications as text. Here is how to repair this:

    Select an empty cell.
    Copy it (Ctrl+C)
    Select the pasted crosstab values.
    Select Edit | Paste Special...
    Click the 'Add' option, then OK.

    In Excel 2002 and up, there is a smart tag to do this.
