    macro (excel 2000)

    What is the syntex of a wait statment that will work in a excel macro. I want a 10 second wait between queries.

    It depends on whether or not you want the user to be able to do anything while you wait. If not, then you can do something like:


    <pre> Application.Wait Now() + TimeSerial(0, 0, 10)
    </pre>


    If you do, then something like this:

    <pre>Public Sub Set10SecDelay()
    Application.OnTime Now() + TimeSerial(0, 0, 10), "Later"
    End Sub

    Public Sub Later()
    MsgBox "It's 10 seconds later"
    End Sub
