What 'annoying feature' would you like to turn off?

You are saying that 'something' is putting the textual fragment "[SPAM]" at the start of your Outlook messages?

Some of them? All of them? Just those you receive, or also those you send? Is your PC connected to a domain? Is there an Exchange server involved? Have you got any spam-identification software on your PC or on any server?

From these questions you may conclude that it is not a standard feature of Windows XP to change the subject line in this manner...
    <font face="Script MT Bold"><font color=blue><big><big>John</big></big></font color=blue></font face=script>

    Ita, esto, quidcumque...

Assuming this is company mail, if you find that the filter is snagging messages that are not junk, you should forward them to your mail administrator so that they will not be marked in the future. (Or use whatever other methods you might have to update the filters.)
