Getting rid of new window (Excel 97)

    Hi All,

I've done something so ridiculously daft!
I had 2 documents open and was switching between them using the Window menu, when I accidentally clicked 'New Window' on the menu.
This then created a second version of my document called 'mydocument.xls :2'.
I have now closed and saved the document and when I come to reopen it I still have 2 windows. I only want one! And although I can hide the other, there doesn't seem to be an option to kill it off completely.
    Any ideas?

    Many thanks,

    Cunners

Click the "X" in the top right hand corner of the second window. The workbook will go back to just the single window.

With mydocument.xls:2 open, just close it using the close button (the 'x') in the upper right corner of the workbook window (don't use the close button of the Excel application as a whole, or the File | Close menu item.)
