    RH column not showing (2000/SP3)

I have table which won't show the contents of the RHS of the last RHS column. There's plenty of space on the 'paper', & the margins are set wider than the RHS border of the column concerned. When I type text text on the LHS of the column it displays; as I continue to type subsequent text disappears, word wraps correctly (even though I can't see what's there) then displays correctly on LHS again. It prints OK. This is in Print Layout view. In Normal and Outline it shows OK.

    I'm puzzled! Any help appreciated!

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by jscher2000 on 18-Nov-03 12:21. Whoops...)</P> <img src=/S/whisper.gif border=0 alt=whisper width=29 height=17> What do those acronyms mean?

When text underflows or overflows a cell to the left or right, it often is caused by the "indent" settings for the "paragraph" inside the cell. You might be able to see this from the little triangles on the ruler, or open the Format>Paragraph dialog and look and indent settings (0 and 0 are the best place to start).

Added: Oh, you probably means columns as in Word's Columns feature, not table columns. In that case, the above probably doesn't apply (but maybe it does).

    <img src=/S/whisper.gif border=0 alt=whisper width=29 height=17> LHS = Left Hand Side, RHS = Right Hand Side

Is it possible that the zoom setting for Print Layout is such that you can't see the right side of the page? Click in the zoom percentage box on the standards toolbar, & scroll to "Page width" & see if that helps.

Is it possible your table is contained in a Text Frame? Can you post a sample of the file (remove any sensitive text first) so we can have a look at it.
