    Typed URL's (IE6)

    Good Day,

I usually have people asking me how to delete the URL's they have typed in but now I have a problem opposite to that. I have a client who loses all URL's each time IE browser is closed. Does anyone have any idea how to make these stay?
    Thanks in advance.

Could they be saving "0" days of history? Tools>Internet Options..., the lower part of the General tab. Just a wild guess.

Could the user verify that the TypedURLs key is actually empty??

I can think of a couple othere things that might make it seem like it is not working:

    • Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab: Use in-line AutoComplete for Web Addresses (un-checked)
    • Tools | Internet Options | Content tab | AutoComplete: Use AutoComplete for Web Addresses (un-checked).

But first, I would check out the History setting and the registry "TypedURLs" key to verify is it trully empty.
