Running Query from Form (Access XP)

I have a criteria entered from a form. How do you populate the query from the criteria on the form & if there is no selection on one of the criteria on the form I would like to select all records for that specific field.

    Thanks

In the first empty column in the query design grid, enter the reference to the form in the Field: line, say [Forms]![frmMyForm]![txtMyTextBox], where frmMyForm is the name of the form and txtMyTextBox is the name of the control. In the Criteria: line, enter [MyFieldName] Or Is Null, where MyFieldName is the field to filter on.
