A rule too far? (OL 2k)
Before I start trying to do something impossible (or even very difficult) could someone just confirm that it is worth continuing........
I would like to do a couple of things in Outlook 2k which I dont think can be done by the native rules.
1. I would like to detect whether I am connected or off-line before applying a rule. I routinely move all incoming messages from the exchange server and into a local pst file folder. I would like this to continue to happen when I am connected, but for the large message routine to work if I am offline. (without swiching either rule on and off by hand)
2. I would like to move any messages that are in the large message folder down to the same pst folder as and when I connect directly to the server. I dont think that the rules can detect the presence of messages in, or activity in, any folders other than sent and inbox.
