Quick view of Word Doc (Office and Win XP sp1)

Hello, Is there a way in either Windows or Word to get a thumbnail type preview of a doc's contents, not just the icon? Similar to a jpg thumbnail.
    Thanks.

There is, sort of, but I don't like it much myself.

Select File | Open... in Word.
Click the dropdown arrow in the Views button (it's in the toolbar at the top of the dialog.)
    Select Preview.

    Pretty useless, eh?

    Hans,
As simple as that is. . . It provides my client exactly what he needed. He wanted to quickly view a number of doc's and delete the ones he no longer needed. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Make sure that under File/Properties/Summary tab that you have NOT checked the box to "save preview picture. Contrary to what you'd expect, that creates a tiny image of the page that's unreadable. If you leave the box UNchecked, you can read & scroll through the document when you see the preview..
    Cheers,
