(Edited by JohnBF on 20-Nov-03 14:10. Sorry, the version was initially truncated in the reply window, so I removed my question about the version.)
If this address book is from your Contacts, you can easily export all Contacts data direct to Excel using the File, Import/Export menu, and then cut the Excel columns down to what you need.

If the address book is a PAB (Personal Address Book) or corporate address book (including a GAL) you can do it with Office 2000+ in two steps, by opening Access and selecting File, Open, and in the Type of File drop down box, enter Type of File, Exchange() or Outlook() (I think only Outlook() appears on a standalone machine without Exchange). The Address books will be listed at the top of the foldertree once you open the "service". Import the file into a new Access database, and then import that database into Excel.

I actually prefer to use a table view (Phone list view) in Contacts, set any filters I want, display just the columns I want, then Select All, Copy. Go to Excel and Paste.

I found I frequently only want a few columns and this is faster and fewer steps for me.
