    Saving A Word Document (2000)

I am trying to save a web page thet contains a table into an excel file. However, I can't seem to get the numbers to situate themselves into separate cells. The table I am trying to save is the temperature and precipitation from web page http://www.accuweather.com/adcbin/pu...limo_local.asp.
    Thanks

I went to the site, entered my zipcode and selected a month. I selected the data, copied it to the clipboard, and pasted as text into an excel spreadsheet.

I then selected the dates and header and did:
Data - text to columns - fixed width -<finish>

This seems to work fine. I don't understand how the "word file" comes into play. Also are you trying to automate it or just get the info like what I listed.

You could probably get a full years worth of info (copy/paste each month, delete the "extraneous info", parse (data -text to columns) the data, faster than trying to create a macro to "automate it" to do it "faster".

    Steve,
Works great. I was going through the "Save As" step before!
    Thanks again,
    Jeff
