    Access (97) Date Format

I have a table holding dates. The format of the field is General, ie dd:mm:yyyy hh:mm:ss. Any times at midnight are stored only as dd:mm:yyyy, ie the 00:00:00 is not displayed.

A later calculation is not using the 00:00:00 part and bombing out. Can anyone advise?

    Re: Access (97) Date Format

If you are not using the time protion of the date, you can reformat the field to contain only the date protion.

You can also format the date used in the calculation to contain only the date protion.

    CDate(Format([DateField], "mm/dd/yyyy"))

This formats the date and then converts the string back into a date.

    Hope this helps
