conditional formatting (2000)

    I am trying to use conditional formatting to take a saved time and then find the difference between the saved time and the current time to change a cell color. I am trying to use this to keep cell information up to date by changing it to a different color if the worksheet time has not been updated in an hour. One way I am trying to use a formula like this....If cell value is Less than (Time (now) - 10 minutes) then format cell yellow. The problem I am running into is trying to work out subtract ten minutes from time now.

=a1<NOW() - TIMEVALUE("00:10")
