I have several network printers installed on my network. I am trying to add a printer to my computer. I can add one of the printers without any problem. However, I can not add the other printers. I get an error message that says "a policy is in effect on your computer which prevents you from connecting to this print queue. Please contact your system administrator".
Why can I not add this printer?

Check with your IT support, they may have made settings so "Just anyone" can not install and use this printer.
Befor retirement, we had some "Color" printrs installed on the network. To prevent everyone from printing everything out in color the IT support set them up, so you have to have IT support "Rights" to install the drivers and make the connection. They even had the use passworded and the password was changed weekly.
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
