Spam Filter Effects

The lounge sends out daily archives, replies to your posts, password recovery emails, lot's a stuff.

On average, I receive some 50 rejection messages from all over the place thinking that these mailings are either spam, contain malicious scripts etc. etc. etc.

Please ensure that you are WHITELISTING any email from loungeadmin@wopr.com , and, if you can't do that yourselves, ask your network administrators to do so.

If this continues at the current rate, I'll have to implement an auto-responder which automatically cancels all subscriptions and email notifications. But, I don't wanna do this unless absolutely necessary.
Cheers, Claude.

I scurried off and whitelisted all things wopr. Understanding that you have a huge workload with Lounge Search restoration, would it be feasible to at least have an "auto PM-er" which provides a first time warning of such an occurrence?

Yikes, I don't want to get cancelled because I'm on vacation and my out-of-office responded to the e-mail... If forced to implement such a cancellation policy, please include an exception for out-of-office notifications to be ignored....

Out of Office notifications go into a bit bucket, far too many of them. And, quite frankly it does me no good at all to hear about all these people being on holidays while I HAVE to be in the office

Good idea, I'll change the welcome PM.

Actually I was thinking of a PM triggered automagically to the specific Lounger when the Lounge get a SPAM rejection bounce, but your idea is probably less work for now.

I ended up changing the signup screen thus as that is the most logical point to put the warning at.
Cheers, Claude.
