Language in Status Bar (Word 2002)

    Hi all,

Not a biggy, but in a recent install on a new PC, the language does not appear in the status bar as it should. Any idea why this would be the case?

These comments apply to U.S. English editions of Office:

I had a language area on my status bar in Word 2000 after a year of heavy customization. Whatever it was I added (could have been support for East Asian languages, or who knows what) must not be part of the default install, though. On this computer, I have done nothing relating to other languages and, so far, the language areas has not re-appeared on my Word 2002 status bar.

It could be that you have language support for just one language installed. Anyway, please check here for more information.
    Bye,
