    File Type Association (Mozilla 1.4)

    I am using Mozilla Mozilla 1.4 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624) under Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition 4.10.2221.

I have encountered a 'file type association' problem since installing Mozilla. It seems to reset my preference for opening all jpg files each time I reboot. I went to My Computer>Folder Options>File Types and reset my preference for jpg files to IrfanView (marvelous freeware for image management - find it and try it). Each time I reboot the Mozilla icon is there ready to open all my digital photos in a hard to use format (oversize) because they are stored as 22x16 inch 72 dpi jpgs.

Can anyone point me to where I can overcome this 'automatic' feature of Mozilla?

    Thanks,

    John

    Thanks, Bigaldoc!

Flexible software moves just where you want it to, but it is nice to know where to push on it to make it happen.
