Configuring an outlook account for a home network (outlook 2003/200)

I have recently prurchased a new computer running Windows XP and Office 2003. I want to set up a simple home network to my old machine running Windows 98 SE and Office 2000. I want the old machine to have a separate Email account, but my ISP only allows one email account per user account. Would it be possible to set up a sort of internal email sub-account on the client machine that would appear to the user as a normally functioning email account? The new machine would act as the server routing mail to this internal account. I need a free solution.

You may want to look into an free email forwarding service or a free email account that allows POP access.

    Dear Eowyn:

Thanks. I have thought of that.
