    Re: Problems with Netscape

People will be more likely to go to websites that you mention in your posts if you make them into links. Try the Link button in the 1-Click TagPanel.

    Cheers.

    Problems with Netscape

I have tried to place a large washed out picture (our logo) behind text in a table on a number of pages in my web site. I clicked on the picture and used the send to the back button. The automatically changed to the absolute position button which was OK with me. I previewed it (I used IE) and although I didn't quite like the position I published it anyway (after trying to change the position unsuccessfully). I now find out that in Netscape it is NOT behind the text, etc. making the site unreadable and unnavigatable. I am not a happy camper <grin>. See <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.thenationalcoalition.org>http://www.thenationalcoalition.org</A> to see what I mean.

Is there anything I can do make this work? I do not want to use the pix as a watermark as I don't want it tiling, I use it in frames pages, etc.[

I'm having the exact same problem. Tried to make a watermark/graphic behind text. Looks great in IE, but horrible in netscape.

    I'm afraid I can't even get into your site with NS4.08 - following your link causes NS to crash <img src=/S/crazy.gif border=0 alt=crazy width=15 height=15>.

I don't see this effect in your site in either IE or NS (and I can open the site just fine in NS4.7)
Can you direct us to a specific page, please?
