Outlook 2003 removing attached URLs (Office 2003)

Outlook 2003 is removing URLs attached to messages I receive. Does anyone please know how to stop these removals?
    Thanks

The .URL file extension has been on the "dangerous attachment" hit list since the e-mail security update to Outlook 2000 (SP2). You might be able to remove .URL from the security list in the recipient's registry (I have not tried this), but for universal access, it's simplest to paste the URL into the message body rather than to attach a shortcut. (Outlook makes this harder than it needs to be; I usually paste into Word first, and then copy and paste into Outlook, to avoid an automatically created and automatically blocked attachment.)

Thanks but I'm using Novak's software and have been since it was introduced and all other attachments are coming through fine.
I never had this problem with Office XP.
It's no practical that I request peopel sending me URLs to include them in the body of the message.

I don't know what "Novak's software" is, but I assume it gives you access to all blocked attachments. If true, you have confirmed that it is not an Outlook problem because you have complete access to all of the attachments that Outlook is receiving. Correct?

Next question: What firewall, antivirus, and anti-spam are you running?

Because they're customers and you don't want to alienate them??

I find a little security education goes a long way. If people know that at least half their correspondents have attachment blocking turned on, they will change their behavior.

Attached is the software I'm using (which I originally found on a Woody's newsletter).
The message on the email tells me that Outlook removed the URL.
Telling everybody id just not practical.

I've just downloaded a newer and updated version which has specific URL permission and hopefully this will work.
    Thanks for your help?
