    VB help fails (2000 SR1)

My VB help has failed. When I press F1 I get the message that "the feature is no longer functioning properly" and would I like to repair it. I select yes, insert the CD and it appears to complete the process without error but then displays a blank help screen. Close screen, press F1, repeat ad infinitum.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same thing happen. Take a look at Microsoft Knowledge Base article <!mskb=249065>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 249065<!/mskb>.

Essentially, there are 5 files that do not get copied into the proper locations. This article tells how to copy them from your Office CD into the correct locations on your hard drive.

    Hope this helps.
