    Report field Contents (Windows NT Office)

    I have a database that is a listing of attendees of a class. This is military. I have one field that lists the Branch of Service ie USMC, USA, USN, USAF, USCG. When I print the class roster I only want the contents of this field to show if it is Not a USMC, but I still want to display the USMC Record. See Below for example:

    LAST NAME FIRST NAME MI RANK BRANCH OF SERVICE DATE OF CLASS UNIT
    Smith Don J CPL 2004-01-02 DIV (This is the USMC Record)
    Jones Frank K PO3 USN 2004-01-02 DIV (This is the USN Record)

    As you see it prints any service that is not USMC.

    How can I get it do do this?

    In a query, you can use this field instead of Branch of Service:<pre>Branch: IIf([Branch of Service]="USMC";"";[Branch of Service])</pre>

    In a form or report, you can use the same expression as Control Source of a text box:<pre>=IIf([Branch of Service]="USMC";"";[Branch of Service])</pre>
