Language translator for MSIE

Hi people, I have done a search for a translator program relating to MSIE version 6, IM Translator for MSIE comes up a lot, thought I would ask if anyone in here is using this? All I want is to translate web pages written in languages other than English. Any feedback appreciated. Thank you.

Google has a translation service, as does Altavista: BabelFish and SysTran. I don't know which of these use the same translation engine.

But ... the result is often more funny than useful. (Woody's Lounge becomes something like "sitting room with trees" in Dutch)

"Sitting Room with trees", that is funny and cute! All we need are the Banana Daiquiri's with little unbrella's! Thanks for the info Hans, I knew it was a good idea to post the question before trying out translation programs - I do not have a lot of use for one, but I just spent forever trying to understand a site written in German.

Yup, it does sometimes (often) yield some humorous results. Google, of course, when doing a search sometimes offers a translation link right there at the hit, but if not I sometimes use BabelFish for translation. There was a recent thread where a Lounger posted an answer to a problem, found at a German site, offering to translate the page if needed. Just for the heck of it, I had it translated using BabelFish and it was really funny. If you can read between the lines of the literal translations though, it's normally helpful.
