I have accidently locked an Outlook.pst file and can't recall the password, in fact I didn't know I had put a password on it. However this happened after outlook would not receive into the Inbox. I have cleaned the file with a Microsoft password strip program from computerhope.com but this only works with outlook 9x not 2k. Any advice welcome....

There are other 'outlook .pst cracker' programs out there that you could try... *google* I don't recommend any of them. <img src=/S/innocent.gif border=0 alt=innocent width=20 height=20>

Thanks for the tip, I purchased a bypass tool from crak.com, it worked but I still had the problem with the inbox not allowing incoming mail to be delivered so I created a new .pst and exported all the folders from the corrupt .pst to the new one. It works and my wife is happy, it was her Outlook. Saved, another marriage, no thanks to Mr Gates...
