    PDF with hyperlinks (WXP OXP)

Can anyone tell if there is a product available that will create PDF files but retain the hyperlinks in the documents?

    cheers

A product other than Acrobat? (I assume Acrobat does that...)

Live URLs is a feature that was added in the recent upgrade to pdfFactory from FinePrint. This product costs $50 (version 1.5x is a great product; I assume version 2 is even better). BUT... try before you buy, in case this applies only to IE and not Word. I haven't tested the new version yet.

The PDFMaker macro that is part of the full Acrobat product will do this.

    Stuart thanks for that

Given that Acrobat 6 takes an age to load I think I'll this a miss.

I found an MVP article that said in Office 2000, to prevent this from happening, you should go to Tools|Options|View and uncheck the Windows in Taskbar box. Sure enough did this and, bingo the problem with being continually asked to Open or Save documents, when navigating, has gone away.

PDF Factory works fine with URLs but does not take Word hyperlinks. Thanks anyway.
