    Query for the * (Access 2000)

    How do I query for records that contains ********* I know in Excel it is ~* but it doesn't work in Access

    Try using brackets around the special character (asterisk). Example:

    <pre>SELECT Table1.Field1
    FROM Table1
    WHERE (((Table1.Field1) Like "*[*]*"));</pre>


    This returns all records in Table1 where Field1 has a * in it. For more info on Like syntax, look up "Like Operator" in VBA Help (look under Contents, Operators).
