Outlook Accounts

Two quick questions--- 1. Can I use Outlook 2000 to get my mail from Hotmail and if so how can I set it up in accounts, I had it in Outlook express, but don't see it in Outlook. 2. My internet options shows that Outlook is my newsreader but when I open my news it opens Outlook Express Newsreader, is this to be expected? or is their a way inside of outlook to open up news, without having to open an outlook express newsreader window. Thanks for any help!

    Re: Outlook Accounts

    1) can't have hotmail in OL natively. Ol2002 changes that or use a utility. there is also a hack for IMO mode users at http://www.slipstick.com

    2) outlook does not offer native news support, instead relies on the news stub from express. MS ghas said repeatedly that this will not change in the near future. Businesses don't want users adding news and can control it with nntp service of exchange server.
