    Turning off MDI? (2000)

I use Access 97 at home and like the way that it has just one button at the bottom of the screen no matter what form I open or query I run. I use Access 2000 at work and it gives me mutliple buttons when I open a database and then open a data entry form. I understand this is called multiple document interface by Micrisoft. I just call it a pain. I find it very confusing to switch between the two systems. Is there a way to turn off this behavior in Access 2000?

You need to turn off the "Windows in Taskbar" option (Tools, Options) - see attached pic. Uncheck the box labelled "Windows in Taskbar" (checked in the screenshot).
